Rosie the labrador dog had to be rescued from the middle of a Highland loch after she went for a ride in a Kayak.
The family pet was with her owner’s teenage sons when she calmly got into the kayak on the waters edge and quickly drifted out into the middle of the loch, which eventually leads out to the Atlantic.
Local Highland residents watched on as Rosie, set out out into the middle of Loch Broom near Ullapool.
An witness, a kayaking instructor, reported on social media that Rosie “had just stolen his neighbour’s kayak”.
Rosie spent 30 minutes out on the Loch beforeventually a rescue boat rowed out to Rosie and towed her safely back to shore.
Rosie is re-united with her owner's sons completely unfazed by the whole incident
